AION 2 Global Restricts 4,996 Accounts in October 10 Enforcement Notice

Region: Steam/PURPLE Global, not Korea or Taiwan. NC has issued an account-enforcement notice dated October 10, 2026, reporting 4,996 restricted accounts. Its official timestamps are October 10 at 11:00 p.m. PDT and October 11 at 8:00 a.m. CEST.

What the figure includes—and what it does not say

NC identifies breaches involving unauthorized programs, botting, macros used in violation of the rules, organized gold farming, real-money trading, and abnormal activity affecting the in-game economy. The announcement describes a review under its Operation Policy.

It does not publish a case-by-case penalty list or state that every one of the 4,996 restrictions is permanent. The defensible figure is the number of restricted accounts, not a count of confirmed permanent bans.

Legitimate play and precautionary locks

The statement explicitly distinguishes ordinary play, including extended grinding sessions, from activity found to violate policy. Long sessions alone are not presented as a sanctionable offense. Equally, that wording cannot be taken as permission for unauthorized software or abusive trading.

NC separately describes temporary security locks affecting a small number of potentially at-risk accounts. Suspicious access conditions may suggest a compromised device or connection, and such a lock is intended to protect the account. It is not automatically a disciplinary restriction.

Anyone who believes an enforcement decision or security lock was made in error should contact NC’s support team and provide the relevant details. The publisher says these requests receive individual review.

The takeaway for Global players

The notice confirms that NC is scrutinizing both prohibited gameplay activity and economic abuse. It offers no public detection formula or guarantee for third-party tools. Players in Korean and Taiwanese services should not treat the Global account total as a local enforcement report.
