Scope: Steam/PURPLE Global for Windows PC. These requirements should not be confused with device support on the separate Korean and Taiwanese services.

AION 2 Global’s official Steam listing names the GTX 1050 Ti with 4 GB VRAM as its minimum GPU and the RTX 2070 with 8 GB as recommended. Both configurations ask for 100 GB of available storage, and both recommend using an SSD.

Two official hardware tiers

The minimum CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i5-10500 with 8 GB RAM. The recommended tier lists a Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-11700 with 16 GB RAM. Windows 10/11 64-bit, DirectX 12 and a broadband connection appear in both specifications.

An important detail sits in the additional notes. At 1080p, NC advises Very Low graphics for minimum hardware and Low for recommended hardware. The recommended tier therefore is not a promise of high-quality 1440p output or constant frame rates during densely populated PvP battles.

The 100 GB number is a requirement for available space, not an advertised download size. Keeping more room free for future patches is practical, but an exact extra buffer has not been published as a mandatory figure.

SSD usage is explicitly recommended in both tiers. The listing does not state that non-SSD installations are categorically impossible. Performance still depends on the complete PC, including CPU, RAM, cooling and laptop power limits.

A sensible installation checklist

Check your Windows version, graphics-card memory, DirectX compatibility and free disk space before beginning an installation. Treat the published presets as a conservative starting point rather than a measured benchmark for every machine. NC’s Global Windows specification is separate from other services’ device policies.
