AION 2 Global Revises Abyss Time to Seven Hours and Adds Weekly Entry-Stone Rewards
Region: AION 2 Steam/PURPLE Global. NC’s October 13 (PDT) / October 14 (CEST) update makes several changes to Abyss access and faction combat. These are not Korean or Taiwanese patch notes and should not be extrapolated to those services.
Seven hours of accumulated entry time
The notes change the maximum accumulated Abyss entry time to seven hours. That wording matters: it does not necessarily mean seven hours per individual visit, nor does the announcement explain every character-level or weekly rollover scenario. Check the in-game timer after the update.
NC also says battlefield base values were adjusted to support a more reasonable combat duration, while stuttering in large-scale Abyss battles was reduced. No fixed frame-rate gain or blanket numerical damage reduction for the Global service is specified in that section.
Weekly goals gain entrance stones
Two objectives under Season Missions → Abyss → Weekly now grant Abyss entrance stones: spend one hour in the Abyss, and defeat Guardian God Nahma once. These are rewards tied to mission progress, not unconditional compensation sent to every account. Verify completion and claim status in the client.
An additional, time-limited Kinah option
Under the Conqueror of the Abyss event, which runs after October 13/14 maintenance until the October 27 (PDT) / October 28 (CEST) maintenance, characters of level 45 or higher can purchase Abyss Rift Stone (Event) for 50,000 Kinah from the Brisenwind Trading Guild special shop. There is a limit of seven stones per character per week.
Purchasing from that event shop and earning stones from weekly missions are two distinct routes. Server-transfer-specific stock changes elsewhere in the shop do not make the event’s weekly restriction disappear. Players should confirm prices and remaining allowances in game.
